Rutledge Integrated Marketing began as Rutledge and Associates on July 1, 1999 in some unused office space at one of our long-time clients; Edwards Subaru-Hyundai in Council Bluffs, Iowa. However, our roots can be traced back to June of 1980.
That’s the year Dan Rutledge entered the radio business as a young ambitious Account Executive fresh out of the University of Northern Iowa. From the beginning, Dan became an integral part of the incredible promotional machine that his employer, Sweet 98 fm, was. During his time there, he experienced first-hand how to create and execute ideas that connected with people, and in turn, built the fortunes of numerous retail business owners in Omaha. After leaving Sweet 98 in 1984, Dan spent the next 15 years as a radio and TV Account Executive and General Sales Manager.

In early 1999, at the behest of two long-time clients, and friends, he formed Rutledge and Associates. From the beginning the agency became known as a constant idea generator focused completely on client results.

Today, Rutledge Integrated Marketing works with over 50 auto dealerships throughout the United States. Our focus is still on getting our clients results. However, our approach has changed with the times.
